July's JLPT N2 matters to me — more than just an exam.
It's not merely a test of Japanese ability. It's a milestone marking the effort I've put in: into living here, adapting, and studying hard every single day.
From the moment I decided to come to Japan, to actually standing here and building a life — there's been a lot in between. Days when I couldn't understand what people were saying. Times when I couldn't get a single word out. Watching others chat fluently while I stayed silent — there were moments I wondered if I'd made the wrong choice.
But I've kept going. I know I've been persistent.
Whether it's studying after work, reviewing vocabulary on my commute, or pushing through conversations I don't fully understand — none of that effort was wasted.
Maybe progress isn't as fast as I hoped.
Maybe I'm still far from the version of myself I imagine.
But I'm on the road. I'm moving forward.
For me, N2 isn't just a certificate.
It means I'm one step closer to the life I actually want.
So, July — let's give it everything.
Just a little more.
Just a little more focused.
Just grit your teeth and go.
This time, I will pass.
自分を信じる — Believe in yourself. 絶対に合格する — You will make it.
